Bits and Bobs

Afternoon everyone Hope you are all enjoying the sunshine? I’ve just been out in the Meadow garden where they are having afternoon snack – glorious! Some of our Sky parents may already be aware that will shortly be losing Lisa Miles, who has been providing maternity cover for our lovely Nicole Fox. Lisa has been offered a permanent role which is too tempting to refuse. Sad for us, but welcome news for Lisa. Lisa’s last day at Sunflowers will be Thursday 17 April. We are very pleased to confirm that Charlotte Gilbert, who has been working mainly in Sky since September last year, and Kate Eastmond, who has provided cover in all of our rooms, will be increasing their hours to cover Lisa’s departure. This is great news as it means continuity of care for our little ones (and their parents), many of whom already know Charlotte and Kate well.

Other news for you. Chicken pox and scarlet fever are still skulking around (we have had a case of chicken pox in Sky this week) plus all sorts of coughs and colds are hanging around too. We continue to remain vigilant …

If you are around this weekend then don’t forget our combined working weekend and steering group discussions on Saturday 5 April from 10am. Can you pop over for an hour or so from 10am? Let me know.

Bookings for the Easter holiday in The TreeHouse are going well – we’re particularly looking forward to bell ringing next door at St Nicholas’ Church. We’d better warn the neighbours about that one! If you would like additional days with us during the holiday weeks and haven’t been in touch yet, please let me know as soon as you can.
